Qadija Yusuf​

Qadija Yusuf is an Islamic youth speaker engaging with young children and adolescents in various youth organizations. She completed her Sanad Ijaza in Hafs an Asim from Dr. Halla Ragab and Taleem Al-Quran from Al-Huda Institute. She is passionate about working with the youth and giving back to the community.

Bassima Hamasni

Bassima Hamasni has a long experience as Islamic Studies teacher for over 15 years at various International schools. She got her initial BA with a major in Middle East and Islamic Studies, from the University of Toronto and followed it up with many other certificates related to teaching, Tajweed, as well as teaching Arabic as a second language. Her passion is to help Muslim kids learn about Islam, love their Deen, and be proud of their Islamic identity.

Amro Shafik

Amro Shafik has been teaching Islamic Studies for several years with multiple institutions. He is one of the Fiqh instructors at Ayaat ILM Academy. He has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and works as full-time professor at Durham College. He also has Masters in Islamic Studies in the field of Shari’ah and is pursuing his PhD in the same field. He has multiple Ijazas in all disciplines of Islamic Studies. In addition, he serves as a regular Khateeb in Al-Arqam Islamic Centre in Oshawa.

Asma Adam

Asma Adam Is An Islamic Children’s Teacher With Ayaat. She Has Completed Her Sanad Ijaza In Hafs And Sho’ba With Dr. Halla Ragab And Is Currently Working On Her Ijaza In Qaloon. She Is Passionate About Helping Young Children Connect With Islam And Start Their Journey In Becoming The Best Muslims They Can Be.

Eyad Abdalla

Eyad Abdalla is a youth activist involved in his community, volunteering and supporting the Muslim community in the Greater Toronto Area. Eyad is a software engineer with a degree from the University of Waterloo and seven years of experience in tech and startups. In addition to his professional pursuits, Eyad also has a passion for Arabic calligraphy and has taught classes for youth in this creative art form and different Islamic topics.

Belal Mostafa

Is an activist involved in supporting Muslim youth through working with multiple organizations in leading programs, organizing events and creating an environment that harnesses development for Muslim youth and children. He is passionate to give back to the Muslim youth community and the Muslim society in large.

Batoul Assal​

Batoul Has Immense Experience Planning And Executing Programs For Muslims In Our Community, With Her Most Recent Contributions Being At Misk Islamic Society Of Canada. She Has Trained In The Science Of Hadith Under The Supervision Of An Experienced Scholar, Building A Particular Understanding In Sahih Bukhari And Muslim. Batoul Is Passionate About Building A Generation Of Young Muslims Who Have A Deep Love And Understanding Of Their Deen.

Amina Gomaa

Amina Gomaa is a mother of three, who is passionate about working with children. She runs a weekly halaqa for children and has participated in organizing many children and youth programs in our community. Amina has finished memorizing the Quran with Dr. Halla Ragab and is looking forward to complete her Ijazah inshaa Allah.

Yousra Hazem

Yousra Has Been Leading A Weekly Quran And Arabic Co-Op Halaqa For The Last 4 Years. She Worked With Youth As A Coach In The Teenage Girls Basketball Program At ISNA. She Is A Student Of Islamic And Arabic Studies At Al Azhar University. She Is Passionate About Empowering Youth And Kids Through Islamic Activities.
